Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
No! Couch 2 Guitar works completely offline. Once downloaded, you can use all features without an internet connection.

Absolutely! Couch 2 Guitar is designed for guitarists of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. The app provides clear visual guides and step-by-step instructions.
Features
How does the metronome work?
The metronome provides both visual and audio cues to help you keep time. You can adjust the tempo (BPM) and choose different time signatures. The visual metronome shows a bouncing indicator, while the audio provides click sounds.
Can I create my own chord progressions?
Yes! The Song Builder feature allows you to create custom chord progressions and organize them into complete songs. You can save your creations and access them anytime.
What strumming patterns are available?
The app includes various strumming patterns from basic to advanced. Each pattern comes with visual guides showing the strumming direction and timing. You can practice along with the metronome.
How do I learn fingerpicking patterns?
The fingerpicking section provides step-by-step guides for different patterns. Each pattern shows which fingers to use and the timing, making it easy to learn proper technique.
Data and Privacy
Does the app collect any personal data?
No, Couch 2 Guitar does not collect any personal data. Everything you create in the app (songs, progressions, favorites) is stored locally on your device only.
Is my practice data stored anywhere?
All your practice sessions, custom songs, and app settings are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any servers.
Can I backup my songs and progressions?
Currently, all data is stored locally on your device. We recommend regularly backing up your device to preserve your custom content. Future updates may include cloud backup options.
Technical Issues
The app is running slowly on my device. What should I do?
Try closing other apps to free up memory, restart the app, or restart your device. If the issue persists, please contact us at solutions@nebari.cc.
The audio isn't working properly. How can I fix this?
Check your device's volume settings and make sure the app has permission to play audio. Try closing and reopening the app, or restart your device.
Can I use the app on multiple devices?
You can install the app on multiple devices, but your custom content (songs, progressions) will not sync between devices as everything is stored locally.
